We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Procurement & Supply Apprentice to join our team and build a strong foundation in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. This is an exciting opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while working towards a recognised qualification gaining hands on experience in real commercial activity from day one.

 

As a Procurement and Supply apprentice, you will work within the Commercial Department, rotating within the different areas of Procurement, Contract Management and PSSR throughout their apprenticeship. The broad purpose of the procurement and supply occupation is the process of procurement or buying of goods and services.

 

Procurement and supply chain practitioners are vital for the smooth functioning of the procurement and supply department. They are often responsible for ensuring contracts are correctly administered and maintained in accordance with legislation or the organisation’s own procedures.

 

They will use their knowledge of procurement regulations and internal policies to support the wider procurement team in tasks such as market and supplier analysis, bid, quotation or tender construction and response evaluation, supplier database maintenance, purchase order review and conversion, spend analysis, and stakeholder liaison.

Job Description

 

The type of activities the Procurement and Supply Apprentice would gain experience in and complete, include but are not limited to:

 

  • Supporting on production of Strategy documents,
  • Invitation to Tender
  • Pricing Templates
  • Contract Management Plans
  • Monitoring Key Performance Indicators
  • Attending Contract Management Reviews
  • Production of reports
  • Supply chain reviews
  • Commercial Continuous Improvement Assessment Framework
  • Commercial Dashboard Reporting 

 

As part of the apprenticeship, you will work alongside experienced professionals to gain experience on completing the above work activities to support learning and development.

Entry Requirements: 

 

Typically, candidates will have achieved grade C or above in at least five GCSE’s including English and Maths. The candidate will also hold a minimum of 2x A –Level qualifications. 

 

Please note if successful in being shortlisted to interview, interviews will be scheduled May 2026. Proposed start date for this apprenticeship will be September 2026.

Please note: all of our roles will require the successful applicant to achieve BPSS Security Clearance. Some of our roles may require a higher level of clearance to be achieved. If this is required, this will be detailed in the Job Requirements section. If the role requires higher level of National Security Vetting, applicants must typically have 5 or 10 years continuous residency. Factors such as your nationality, any nationalities you may have previously held, and your place of birth can restrict the level of clearance you’re able to achieve.
